Unhappy Vacuum Cleaner to suck water

    Hi guys,

I am in the market looking for a vacuum cleaner to use to suck the water from my Toilet floor (Don't ask why!). I assume those are called Wet/Dry vacuum cleaners. but I am not really sure. Anyways I am looking for a cheap one and there was one on PCCW online shop called "Rasonic Water filteration vacuum cleaner (RA-WFVC83). Does this work?

And there is another one called "Smartech mini Octopus" and I really need your advice to go ahead and get one before my toilet gets overflowed!! thanks guys...........

Whatever you do don´t get a wet vacuum for your bathroom!
What you need is a mop
keep the vacuum for the other rooms, which presumably are less wet and can benefit from the wet vacuum

Oh and dont scrimp on a cheapo model
    get a Mermaid

KK: That's not what he's looking for. He's looking for the industrial kind that can be used to suck water up off the floor. I used to have one in New York, but I don't think I've ever seen one here. It's the kind of thing you'd get at Home Depot.

Wouldn't it be easier to turn the stopcock and call a plumber?

acually, i am looking for a small wet/dry vacuum cleaner.becouse everytime i wash the toilet, i have to mop the whole floor becouse the water retaines on the floor as its not aligned properly. and its really frustating to clean the floor for about 20 minutes. just want to get a handy vacuum to suck the water from the ground and and clear the floor after washing!

Will those vacuums which i stated earlier serve the purpose? please let me know! Thanks guys!

We had similar problem when we lived in Malaysia and the solution was a squeegy thing - like you clean a car windscreen with - we used it to move the water over the drain and down it went.....

Those wet/dry vaccum cleaners are a pain and the tank fills up REALLY fast and then you have to empty it and you get all wet doing that .... nothing is simple!

Sogo sells Numatic vacuums, but they are expensive. The wet/dry one is Charles.
