    Barbecue hunting ground

Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced charcoal-fuelled bbq? They seem to be a bit scarce ...

    Any advice would be great!

B & Q in megabox has a few selections. My last one from there was around 200 HK$, it was rectangular shape. My other one was from price rite, aluminium one but that was more expensive $600.

Last time I was at Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau I noticed a place specialising in barbecues. I wasn't looking for a barbecue so I didn't pay much attention but they did perhaps look like a 'huge barbecue the size of a truck, costing more than your house' kind of a place rather then a 'reasonably-priced' kind of a place.

Years ago when we had a rooftop I think we got a simple charcoal one from the hardware place in the local market near the village.

Alternatively you could always just nick a few bricks and some get some wire mesh...

    I got mine from Pricerite.
Had to assemble it myself, but it does get hotter than the surface of the sun*
