Super old thread, but where has the North Face store gone? Not listed on Time Square's website any more, TNF store locator says it's at 555 Hennessy - which is Sogo's address. Funnily (or rather frustratingly), the store locator puts Sogo (which apparently has a - surely useless - TNF shop-in-shop) in eastern Wan Chai...

If the listing is the same as Sogo, then its the inshore stop being listed. I can't see why that's automatically useless.
Another thing to remember is that North Face is one of the most copied brands in China - pretty much everything you see outside of a genuine outdoor store is fake. But there are many outdoor stores selling genuine high quality outdoor clothing - North Face and otherwise - including Chamonix, Overlander, RC Outfitters, Protrek etc etc. They all have branches in Mongkok and Causeway Bay; some have smaller outlets in Shatin and other places.
Useless as it's tiny. Going by the floor plan on Sogo's website, it's probably 250 sqft...
I just wonder why they list the shop-in-shop in Sogo AND a proper TNF store in their store locator, both with the same address...
I know. Am looking for specific TNF merchandise though, doubt they'll happen to have it, and in my size/color.
K11 in TST has a TNF store.
You can also (closer to your home) look at:
Asia Pacific Adventure - APA opens new destination Outdoor Store!
They carry extensive TNF stuff
You can see a North Face shop on the 2nd or 3rd floor of a building as you walk on the MK covered walkway (from MK station to MK East.)
After checking on GoogleMaps it seems to be a store named "athletic city" and just happens to have a rather large TNF sign.
The sports brand concessions within Sogo are pretty dire. I've gone there to look at the gym brands, and the ranges are so limited that the visits have been a frustrating waste of time.
Agreed, if someone is after proper outdoor gear, go to one of the dedicated places (especially Chamonix). But if someone is after TNF gear in particular, there's a good chance that it's just for walking around HK!
