    Novo Concepts out, Jusco in

Stores are closing down a lot in Megabox recently. Novo Concepts has been packing up for the last couple of weeks, taking up significant portion of 2nd and 3rd floor. Now all boarded up waiting for arrival of Jusco. Presumably Wellcome will be making an exit in the not too distant future.

Ikea gobbled up an extra unit lying empty for many months - former suitcase company spot whom relocated to ground floor. Still scheduled for Summer opening.

Spotlight changing for some random boring furniture company, it looks like a move from E-Max.

Various other small companies closing, nothing overly remarkable

they need to sort out the location problem, maybe more regular shuttle buses (25mins wait for a 10-15 min walking distance does not help the attendence problem), maybe shuttle buses from tst. mk and kowloon tong would help, car owners have no problem cos they have cheap car parking at HK$8 per hr as well it's easy & fast to drive from kowloon or NT ( no traffic jams)

it's only a matter of time (give ikea 3 years) to see if they will move out of megabox cos of this fundamental problem, i actually liked NOVO (shenzhen store still open though) cos you can reasonable priced good quality clothing eg, g star, energie, superdry at a facton of the price other places charge.

i can not see a long term solution to this fundimental problem as proposed Kai Tak station will still be 10-15mins walk, unlike Emax which will benefit 5-7 estimated mins from this new station

I think they're now targeting car owners more with Jusco and the furniture store. There are already buses from Mongkok and Kowloon Tong.

They were hoping to get a lot of foot traffic from Enterprise One, but that is still empty and ground still hasn't even broken on the large block in front.

It's a bit crazy with the new malls opening up in TST for competition. iSquare is pretty big and looking to fill ~20 major eatery spaces, I haven't checked out K11 yet and there's still the opposite side of the block with the Mira hotel on.
