    Where to buy smoked fish?

Anyone know where to buy smoked fish? I'm looking for fish like smoked haddock rather than smoked salmon or peppered mackerel in packets.

I once tried to smoke fish.

    It wouldn't stay lit.

Great in Pacific Place or City Super would be the obvious places to try.

Thanks but I have tried those. I can only find the peppered mackerel / smoked salmon etc. in packets. Looking for fresh (or frozen fish). Was thinking there may be something along the lines of a specialist shop or a tenderloin.com equivalent...

Really? You do surprise me - Great has a sizeable fresh seafood counter which I would have thought must have some smoked fish.

Got myself some smoked haddock from Olivers in Prince's Building the other day (cost me a kidney to get enough to make a kedgeree for two though!). Also try 360 in the Landmark - they've got smokies (apart from salmon) from time to time.
