Where to buy silica gel packs?

Anyone know where I can buy silica gel packs? I am not sure what they are called in Chinese and trying to describe them at a store is getting tedious.

    Thanks!

Try a place like Man Fung or Japan Home Centre.

乾燥劑, just print, take this and show to any supermarket, japan home store, they should also have the better chemical dehumidifers which are great for wardrobes.

I don't have a dehumidifier and one of my laptop bags got mold on it. I am going to give it a nice wash and then stuff some of those packs into it to prevent mold from coming back.

Ah, for that. Try Wing On, that is where I get mine from to stick in my wardrobe.

alternatively, there is a cheap way of getting them is to buy package snacks as they normally have them included in them to prevent moisture.

Wellcome certainly has both the big plastic containers, and the smaller plastic sachets, but I'm not sure about the very small ones that you get in food, electronics boxes and so on.

They only work well if they are in a closed space, otherwise you're trying to dehumidify your whole apartment, which they're not up to. Best to store stuff like that in a cupboard or drawer and put the dehumidifier carton or packet in with them.
