Shopping - Makeup, Fashion, Stores. What are the clothes stores like? Makeup Brands?

    Hello,

I am moving to Hong Kong soon from Australia, and I was wondering what the shopping was like for woman? Are there many clothes stores with fashion similiar to Australian? Also, anyone know of any good makeup brands that you can find anywhere in HK, I currently use Napoleon Perdis, from my research though, there isn't many places that stock this brands! Thank you!

not sure whats the fashion / high street scene like in Australia but i m sure you can find something you like & fit as long as you have the $!

as a generalisation, the 'high street' scene here tends to gear towards the young, girlish, japanese / korean style, which can be quite different to the western fashion. but there are mango & zara & aldo ...plus loads of designers brands (Europe & US) for those who are not into that style

size can potentially be a problem for some. http://www.geoexpat.com/forum/thread67745.html

again in terms of make up brands, you can find the big names like lóreal, estee lauder, maybelline... in alot of places. the popular jp brands like shiseido and various korean brands are everywhere

unfortunately i have not heard of the make-up brand u mentioned. there is a possibility that harvey nichols or sasa stocks them IF it is a big & popular brand in australia

Hi, according to the NP website you can find their products at Faces Department Store in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Shui. There's also a concept store at APM mall in Kwun Tong.

HK is a shoppers paradise. No duty, competitive market environment. Makeup and perfume is half the price compared to Australia. You won't have a problem finding what you need here.
