Is SQ hiring now? There is also Silk Air, Tiger Air and Jetstar, all three are based in Singapore, but they are all low cost carriers, so you would not expect a salary that is higher or comparable to CX or KA. Maybe HK Express might be more comparable, salary-wise, if OP's husband works for them. But otherwise, unless he can land a job at SQ, the OP's husband will be looking at a substantial pay cut by moving to Singapore.

So did I. Bitchy, know-it-all, boastful, patronising, self-centred... clearly a chick.

Can anyone confirm whether CX, KA or any other HK carrier based any of their flight crew in Singapore? If not, seems like OP's husband will be getting employment from a Singapore-based carrier then...

I felt the same way living in Tai Hang for 2 years then moved to Tseung Kwan O and it's amazing what leaving near the bay can do for your lungs. It's not all of HK. May want to compensate by buying a premium air purifier in the meantime, mate.

But TKO is near a garbage dump, you don't mind the smell?

Yes Junk Bay has no smell anymore, surprisingly. Breezy air and good family environments.

I can say.. rarely.. Since CX is Hk based, so should their flight crew be based in HK.
Unless his husband flying skills is something to talk about.
Only chances are get a job in SG. Fyi, SG would approve ur visa if you can contribute to the society. (High pay with high tax).
Last option if you are dying to live in SG, invest 2 Million SGD and you will get a citizenship XD.. Some celebrities actually did it.

Like Jet Li and mainland actress Gong Li? Heard they became Singaporeans. Don't think that went down "well" with the nationalistic mainland crowd...

If you are rich, just invest in any country and you will get the citizenship. Easy.

Back it up with data instead of your usual pattern of inflammatory statement followed by evasive shifting of stance, terminated with passive-aggressive smiley emoticon to mean "aw, it's just jokes here, shucks", and I'll stop calling you out on the BS.

I agree with Katherine, you've toned down a bit since your prior incarnation, but whenever you revert to type, don't play all innocent and expect to get away with it.

We know that Singpore has haze problems, the entire world has seen news reports on the haze from neighbouring countries. I'll believe that it's comparable to HK year round, when presented with proof vs handwaving "but I liiiived there!"
