It's actually inspired me to shed some kilos and practice what I preach so I can now honestly tell kids that I never eat fast food or drink sodas...It's scary...don't see too many kids smoking, so that's something I guess...I tell my students that they will break me if I ever see them smoking, lol! But it's probably true.
Most secondary schools allow the kids to go out for lunch, so where do they go? McDonald's, KFC, or if they want to save money, the convenience store for instant noodles. Rubbish bins after lunch are just full of fast food packaging. And the canteen sells what's basically processed prison food, ugh.
A lot of kids think if they're skinny, they're healthy. It's depressing.

Well, here's an idea: How about they take a packed lunch! I know...Oh my God! Right?

And, I know it's not trendy to say it these days but I'm betting that generally speaking, thinner kids are healthier than some of the porkers I see waddling about...

Wooh.. what a ludicrous idea.. you mean folks need to train their helper to make a packed lunch?? That leaves less time for the helper to
clean the house, iron the sheets and clean the windows. Maybe they then need to get two helpers ... dilemma dilemma

Do you guys know what kids do with packed lunches? They either eat them at recess if they are good kids or dump them in the bin to join their friends... Not a new thing, I remember this from 40 years ago and some things never change. Don't give money to your kids? They'll borrow or steal from others.

Ever been to a sports day at a local school? The thin kids, who eat instant noodles and fast food on a daily basis, are just as hopeless as the chubby kids. The hurdles event is particularly shocking. Oh dear.
