The only think I hate more than having fun is seeing others have fun. Now get off my lawn!

Well I consoled myself with a misty morning hike. Pyramid Hill peak ticked off the bucket list

I’ve seen people trying to tow caravans on Fraser. It looks rough!

My definition of luxury is pretty unsophisticated. I recently replacement my 3 cm sleeping pad with an 11 cm mattress and it rocked my world 😂

Wow time flies. I picked up a 4WD and a jetski. Life’s good. Hopefully HK can move on from covid soon and join the rest of the world. Stay strong.

Almost 3 and half years now and I finally booked a flight back to Hong Kong..... for my wife and kids for a month long visit. Wish I could join them but got tied up with a new local job and..... won a local election by a whopping 2 votes LOL

The silver lining to covid is the sudden global staff shortage that means anyone like myself can get a decent job. Or at least in Canada... has it been the case in HK? I took a few medic and rescue technician courses earlier this year and now I'm hired to be a standby rescue and fire prevention tech at a major infrastructure project. I think during normal times I'd have slim chances with my completely different career path I had in Hong Kong.

Sold the jet boat; the kids were complaining how cold it was when we boat here in interior BC in spring. Bought an aluminum one with a cabin that ought to extend the season by at least 2 months.
