Shipping insurance

Can anyone recommend an independent company to provide insurance for shipping my furniture and domestic goods from HK to the UK? The shipping company that I'm using offers insurance but its rather pricey.

Hi, first of all I shall tell you I am an independent insurance broker, whose company advertises on this website. We are able to provide a quotation for shipping household goods that is lower in premium than the movers/shipping company. Their normal rate fluctuates between 2.5% and 3.5%. We normally provide a rate of 1.5% to 2% depending on the risk. PM me if you are interested.
