I know there are a gazillion threads on how to handle your taxes, MPF, etc *before* leaving Hong Kong. Unfortunately, I didn't get around to do the statuary declaration that is required for MPF withdrawal before leaving.

Do I need to fly back to HK for doing this statuary declaration? Or is there any overseas authority (notary etc) that would be accepted?

(The amount is not much more than the cost of a business class ticket to HK, so I might as well leave it in the account if this can't be done from overseas...)
