Cards are underachieving. Reds are overachieving. Let's hope things even out!

I'm tired of fans who ride the highs and give up on the lows.

More power to you for standing up man.

You know what is sad? If you put together a list of all the young players who played for the Expos in the 80's and 90's (and who left the Expos when they got too expensive), it would rival just about any other team over the same time frame:

    -Pedro Martinez
    -Tim Wallach
    -Andres Galaraga
    -Tim Raines
    -Andre Dawson
    -Larry Walker
    -Moises Alou
    -Gary Carter
    -Cliff Floyd
    -Delino DeShields
    -Marquis Grissom
    -Ken Hill
    -Randy Johnson
    -Ugueth Urbina

Isn't it funny, and this probably applies to every sport, that the minute some team wins the World Series, you start seeing hordes of "fans" that you had never seen before.
Had you ever seen a Phillie fan outside of greater Philly before the World Series win?

    Too right!

However, I'm not against people who pick up on a winning team and support them, you have to start somewhere. It's the fans who team hop, those are the ones with, how can I put it, a lack of grace.

While we are on a bit of a rant, our (White Sox) closer, Bobby Jenks has picked up 2 losses from save opportunities in the last week. Given the amount of abuse he's gotten from our own fans disgusts me. He just came from a week on the sidelines due to a family medical emergency.

Ball players are not like Internet fans who freak the f*** out. They realise baseball is a marathon season.
