Question Banana boat rides in HK?

Just got back from hols and my daughter loved the banana boat thrill ride but unfortunately or fortunately whichever way you look at it, we managed to stay put and my daughter was upset we didnt get thrown into the water. It was on our last day so no time to go out again. Is there anywhere Sai Kung or elsewhere in HK that do these sorts of thrill rides. Otherwise will have to wait for next holiday.

    Banana Boat

    Hi there

I have seen people 'Banana Boating' in Sai Kung. Unsure if they were private boats or through a company.

I'll ask my wakeboarding coach and write a reply tomorrow.
Perhaps try the watersports centres in Skung?

    a link to some boats

    http://www.xgamehk.com/sports_wakeboarding_w01.htm

    Hi there

Follow the above link and call some of the numbers of the guys with boats...they might have some info. about banana boats??????

Also an alternative...a large plastic ring behind a boat going reasonably slowly...w/ lifejackets??

Try Chris Wong in Sai Kung...he may be able to help???????????

    Good luck!

sometimes when you hire a junk for the day one of the options (very expensive) is to also hire a speed boat with a banana behind it...

if i recall, about 8 years ago it was about $3000 to hire the junk for 8 hours... then about another $3000 for the speedboat and the banana boat...

but i could be wrong about the prices... it's been such a long time!
