Awesome.
Let me know how you get on pal - looking forward to it!
hubby is over the moon...just thinking about playing soccer. Space is always a bloody problem in HK!
Can book pitches with Urban Council - v popular and can only book 1 month in advance I think.
Can do over internet or phone.
Find out opening date for month and get on immediately as pitches go really quick.
Best place may be Victoria Park but will be on concrete.
work lots of eves so don't want to mess you around but if you get a spot would be interested if i can make it. will watch this space.
does hong kong not just have a field of some sorts we can play on like in the uk we can use jumpers as goal posts or am i dreaming thinking that hong kong has a field ???
just been looking on the net and i think i may have found a pitch http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/ls_fac_grass.php
thats the link if u give it a look it says its open to the public they have all kinds of pitches and there all around hong kong i dont no about prices
Fraid not.
Closest I can think of would be Happy Valley inside the race course but the pitches are so heavily booked that would never expect to find one free on the off chance.
HK Island not exactly renowned for wide open spaces...
That's the site!
Would also check out the concrete pitches as they are easier to book and cheaper I think.
There are also a selection of 5-a-side courts in various locations as well.
I'm in for any 5-a-side too.
