places to run in Sai Yun pun/girl running partner in central

I have just moved locations and really want to get back into running as I use to run for a club before...does anyone know any routes in Sai Yun Pun to do on weekends or evening? I am also keen to have a running partner to help keep pace, natter with etc

You can run for a bit along the water from the Western Sports ground to the ferry terminal but you can't stretch that to much more than 5km. Not too far at the edge of Kennedy Town, you can make a nice loop of about 13km with Victoria Rd, Cyberport and Sai Wan Drive and there's a nice track along the way at Sandy Bay if you want to do some laps.

The start of Bowen rd is also not that far just above HK Park and you can get 8km on it. This is a good site for info and help on running in HK: http://www.hkrunners.com/

head west along the tram line and you'll see the harbour front. My friend who lives in Kennedy runs to cyberport and back. You'll get better running areas further west of Sai Ying Pun.

Kelly > I live near you. From Centre Street, I walk up Hospital Road / Seymour Rd / Robinson Rd to get to Bowen Rd, run that 8km, then get the bus back to Central from the far end.

I run at the circular path at Sun Yat Sen park beside Western sports center. Lots of people to dodge but at least no cars. I've seen people run from the Western sports center to the Macau ferry terminal then to the Central harbor pier then to Admiralty and back. But best to do this very early in the morning.

I've just told you. Bowen Rd has no traffic.
