    Good after-swim shampoo/conditioner/body wash

    Hi there,

Does anyone have any good recommendations for after-swim shampoo/conditioner/body wash/cleanser? Please include price, shop location and reviews as well if possible!

I swim 2-3times a week in the pool and my hair and skin usu get real messy afterwards, not to mention the smell of my swimsuit! If you have tried any products that work well plz kindly leave ur comments here!

    Thanks a bunch!!
    Lizzie

Have you tried Philip Kingsley's Swim Cap? You put a tiny amount on your hair BEFORE swimming and it protects it from chlorine etc. It was recommended to me by my colourist and it's amazing, it really does work. It isn't cheap but a little goes a long way.

I'm not sure if it's available in HK (I'm in the UK and don't arrive in HK until next month) but you can order it online from the website below and they offer free worldwide delivery (if you buy a certain amount). The website also includes product reviews for it:

    PHILIP KINGSLEY SWIMCAP CREAM (150ml)

Thx bibbju for the info! but I have long and Very thick hair. You sure a tiny amount would suffice? What's ur hair like if u dont mind sharing? and how long do u swim each time?

I usually wear a swimcap for swimming. Would u suggest I apply Swim Cap with a swimcap?
lol it sounds funny but i'm serious! I think it'd feel weird to wear both ><

    What u think?

I've found rinsing everything in fresh water straight after a swim, including bathing suit to be really helpful.

I like Aveda shampoos and conditioners. The Smooth Infusions range. Although nothing specific there for post swimming chlorine/sea salt.

You may find that when your hair is well moisturised, cuticles flat, don't use straighteners regularly, limit chemical dye/curls - it will help your hair to bounce back better after swimming.

Completely understand: bad hair day = bad day!

Hey guys! I bought Ultraswim Shampoo and Conditioner today at the Wing On Center in Sheung Wan (Later I found out there's another one in East TST too, P2 Exit)
The afterswim shampoo and conditioner each costs about HKD48(207ml). I'll try them this week and let you guys know if they work well!

Forget to mention, for branded cosmetics/skincare/haircare/perfume they are also available from discount online stores. Well known ones are strawberrynet (HK), lookfantastic (UK) and skinstore (USA).
