Hey guys,

I realize this thread has cooled off, but I'm hoping there's still a few stragglers/newbies out there (I just joined myself so I could post).

Anyway, I'm absolutely interested in finding a suitable partner for indoor rock climbing at the Y in TST.

I can do the PBC 40302 course (Wed/Sat: 7:15pm til 9:45pm).

Fairly beginner in that I don't own any gear whatsoever, but I did do a semester in uni for beginners' indoor rock climbing (I know my commands and the basic double 8 and fisherman knots, I think....)
Just pretend I'm new to it tho since I haven't done it in over a year.

All I seek is an encouraging partner (M/F) who knows when to shout a "you can do it" and when to let me down when I say I really can't go further and can give me a high 5 in both cases.

Hi everyone,

I came upon this thread and just had to sign up so i can post.

I checked out the TST YMCA website frameset
and am able to do the Elementary Course PCB40302 (every Wed/Sat night from 7:15-9:45 during the month of November).

I'm fairly beginner (don't have any gear, but I know my commands and I think I remember how to tie my knots). It's been 2 years since my last course.

I'm just looking for a partner who's encouraging. Knows when to motivate me with a "you can do it" and when to let me down when I really say i can't go further and then be able to give me a high five in both scenarios =)

Hope there are still interested people out there!

I just arrived to hongkong from Stockholm and would like to pick up my climbing here but havn't found any place to climb yet.

I would definitely go to rock climbing if someone had a place to go? i'm located in TST so If possible, it not too far from here? (i'm willing to travel up to an hour or so)
