    Hi there,

I just moved here from the UK, and I really really need to play some football. However the kicker is I don't know my way round HK at all... Is it really difficult to get from say, Aberdeen, to this spot? To the point where it's not worth it?

I would appreciate the advice. I am available weekends, just as a small point :P

    Best! Mal

Welcome to Hong Kong young Mal! Luckily, nowhere is far from anywhere in our fair city. Whilst the cross harbour tunnel bus would normally be the quickest way from Aberdeen, for a newbie such as yourself taking the MTR is probably the less daunting way to get there. Just take a bus from Aberdeen to Causeway Bay or Admiralty as per normal and hop on the MTR to Wong Tai Sin, a number of us will be meeting there and we shall escort you to the pitch.

I'll be at the MTR,(near Exit D1 inside the station) at 6.45.

If you prefer to make your own way there:

The easiest way to find the pitch is to take exit D1 from Wong Tai Sin MTR Station and walk down Shatin Pass Road. As you come towards the junction with Choi Hung Road you'll see a pedestrian bridge on your right (near the Buddhist Kindergarten) which takes you over Choi Hung Road into the park. The football pitch is at the back left of the park (it's a walled 5-a-side pitch not to be confused with the handball pitch).

Hey pal thanks for getting back to me. I am not going to be able to make it tonight, as I am working late and there is no way I would get there in time... I will try to catch the next one, and I definitely will if it's on a weekend

I'm in, Edd's in (probably plus 'Sarge' and the nimble one).

Danny's definitely out having had 2 operations and possibly a skin graft on his newly skin-free leg.

Nobody's got a booking at the moment so we're at North Point for our default pick-up game. If anyone manages to get a booking for Friday just post it up and we'll switch the venue.

In the meantime, this week's game:

Friday 5th October, Tin Chiu Street Playground, North Point, 7pm
