Sure, Lets meet at the Hong Kong Brew House as I still enjoy a 20% discount from my regular days at the hotel above. They serve american style bar food and its pretty good. Or we can go anywhere you want in the LKF area. Let me know your choice. I say we meet around 6:45 to 7:00pm. It gives us time to eat, socialize and stratigize!
I'll PM you my cell phone number.

Mona from Volar just phoned....and they've been instructed to get a gaming licence for the event and have cancelled it until October some time.....So no lucky Mike or Dead Money until Friday.

Mike are you sure they're not just making excuses to politely inform you that you are no longer welcome in there private member club?

Conspiracy or truth, either way I'm not welcome so when the start up I'll just show up and they'll have to let me in to get my trip to Vegas. Until then I'll have to just win all the cash on Friday and go to Vegas when I return to the States.

So just as they're about ready to go into the finals and give away the *big* prizes, they suddenly now find out they need a gaming license? Sounds like a great scam to me.

    The truth out one day!!

actually i got a colleague to ring Volar and they confirmed the "gaming licence" story ... the truth around it however remains to be found ...

Philia still went ahead the night before and have been playing for a while now without any problems. you think they would have cleared it with authorities beforehand. Maybe a "member" complained about letting in the riff raff!!!

anyway i' feel cheated and should be refunded my 300 HKD .. i'll kindly regurgitate the tequila cocktails if required

I am pretty sure there is no requirement for a gaming license once the establishment is not making any profit from the game itself. I'd kick off and get a few free bottles of Don 98 if I had signed up and made the final

words are they are not the best friend of local law enforcement in LKF area, so cops just pick whatever they don't like to prevent them from operating normally
