    Lifting partner- Pure Fitness Causeway

    I know it's highly unlikely to find a workout partner at the same gym, same time of day and similar program, but I figure its worth a shot...

    Gym: Pure Fitness Causeway Bay (but would switch to other branch if need be)
    When: Monday, Wednesday and Friday- early morning (around 6:30-8am)
    Program: Starting Strength(Squats, overhead press, bench press, dead lift & Power cleans or bent-over row)

    After a while, you really need a partner for this program. If you're interested, hit me up.

    It's a good program that. Did you read the book? Are you doing GOMAD?

    I'm actually reading the book now. GOMAD is a bit extreme for me. I love milk and probably drink 1/3 of a gallon a day but haven't tried doing a full gallon yet.

    Have you tried GOMAD?

    I did try GOMAD for a bit but it was just a bit too extreme for my guts. I didn't do the full gallon for very long but still made my way through a lot of milk. It's certainly not necessary but it was a good way for me to get the protein and calories on a student budget. If money isn't an issue then there's no reason not to get your calories from other sources.
