Ok that's similar in Germany ( 17.5. FA Cup Final Dortmund v Bayern, the only Cup that really matters ) but they got a lengthy winter break every year and only 18 teams in the Bundesliga means less games. Also just occasionally mid week fixtures. All in all better prepared for the FIFA and UEFA tournaments.

Jose is a tool. Yes ge should rest players but don't do a press conference on it.

He does like to provoke. Same with his post referee comments last weekend. All cool I think :-)

His psychological tactics in action. Probably wants to unsettle city rather than Liverpool.

To be fair on him they should be able to field any squad they like.

All Bayern 75% possession but 1:0 Real. Mistake Boateng and Benzema bang! Halftime

Tactically, Real was spot on last night, Bayern couldn't cope with the speed and precision of their counter attacks, if only Di Maria was less wasteful, the tie would be over. Only Robben seemed to be the only one that turned up for Bayern, all that possession means nothing if they don't create scoring opportunities. Hats off to Benzema, he ran his socks off for 90mins. I can only guess that Ronaldo was subbed because he's carrying some injury, as normally his stamina is top class, and he had 5 shots with 4 on target.

I think Bayern will rip them a new one back in Germany though. You can't win at counterattacking against Pep for 180 minutes.

I agree bayern have a good chance, although I'm pretty sure inter Milan did it against pep when they won the champions league!
