Everton - Chelsea 1:0. Really great great game last night. Fantastic atmosphere at Goodison Park and a super fight from both teams with a lucky but at the end, deserved winner. Especially the last 20-25 minutes were outstanding. Everton finished extremely strong.

Great result for Martinez, a strong result like that early in the season is just what he needed.
    Stoke holding strong against City.

Every team has dropped points except for Liverpool who go up against Swansea tonight.
ManU, City and Chelsea all dropping 5 points inside the first 4 matches of the season. Would not have predicted that.

Arsenal dominated that first half against Sunderland in a way I have not seen since their undefeated season. Ozil and Wilshere looked like they had played together regularly before, encouraging signs.
That Koscielny tackle though was silly, no need to go in for the ball there. Definite penalty.
Ramsey played a blinder and with Wilshere, Ozil and Ramsey's average age around 22, signs are good for the future.

Couple of interesting fixtures this weekend.
Spurs away to Cardiff, never easy playing there.
    Chelsea v Fulham London Derby.
And the big Manchester Derby to look forward to on Sunday.

Did not expect Chelsea to drop points at home last night against FC Basel. They were up too and seemingly all over the game until Basel got one late against the run of play and followed up with the winner.
Should only be a minor annoyance to Chelsea and should still qualify easily from the group but some cracks appearing in JM's return.

Can't be happier with the lads on a 2-1 away win in Marseille, especially considering 8 first-team players on the injury list. Ramsey is having a stellar start to the season, hopefully it can continue.
Napoli looks like the team to beat in that group after taking the points against last year's finalists.

Hat-trick again for Messi. All the focus on Bale's move to Madrid, and Ronaldo's new 5 year multi-million dollar contract, yet no doubt in my mind who the best footballer in the world is.

Perhaps it's a déjà vu. Basel eliminated ManU in the Group Stages few years ago under similar conditions. Chelsea should be warned Think Trance will be pissed:-( What did Mou say?

Arsenal on a high right now. Amazing. How was Özil ? Full credit to Wenger. It might be his year :-)

Yup Napoli now in the driving seat although Dortmund shouldn't be written off. Too early to tell but advantage for the Italians. Klopp is fuming. He's really a german giant ( Statue ) but his 'off the pitch' behavior is awful and deserved punishment all the way. Probably in the stands next game and a fine.
