Jol's sack was a long time coming.

AVB starting to show signs of cracking. Taking on the media when he should be focused on the squad. Plenty of positives to be taken from the Man U game.
Give Soldado a rest and try Defoe up front for a match maybe.

Think all are safe for another week ;-) Really hard to tell.. and sacking AVB would be pure madness. Spurs is a good team but still few miles behind Arsenal, ManU, Chelsea and City! 5th or 6th place would be absolute acceptable IMHO [not for their fans though]

125 million pounds spent in the off-season to settle for 5th or 6th place would be a tough cookie to swallow for both fans and club I think.

Agreed on Jol! Really no clue about his abilities :-( and by no means a steady fella [coach] 3 years at the same club would be already a long long spell for him.

Indeed staggering amount... But no guarantee at all... As it looks at the moment they wont leapfrog any of the teams mentioned above... 5th at best with or without AVB

There seems to be two clear leagues now, the top 9 and the bottom 11. (Hull are top!)
My surprises are Newcastle in top half and Villa in the bottom.

Why are you surprised Villa are in the bottom half? They almost got relegated last season and haven't improved their squad a great deal.

    Benteke looks uninterested too.
