This was pure humiliation for ManU. Astonishing stuff. Liverpool a serious title contender and still playing City and Chelsea at Anfield. Amazing season it is.

Arsenal with 1:0 away win in the London Derby against Tottenham. Pretty lucky IMHO but 3 points secured. That leaves Chelsea as the big loser as all other 3 teams got maximum points and closed the gap!

    1 Chelsea 66
    2 Liverpool 62
    3 Arsenal 62
    4 ManCity 60

[,Liverpool, Arsenal 1 game in hand, ManCity 3 games in hand ]

I think that's harsh on Liverpool who were totally dominant. I think most teams in the league would have suffered the same fate as Man U did yesterday.

What was suprising was how little fight the Man U players had (with the exception of perhaps Fellaini). They didn't look like they wanted a result.

That having been said, clearly Mata and Januzaj on the flanks weren't working (and contributing very little defensively). Moyes didn't address this until the game was beyond them.

    Turtles.

You don't spend 37m on a number 10 then play him on the flanks.
Moyes is clearly out of his depth.

Yeah I think you're probably right - he is out of his depth, and I think they're underperforming, but you look at the other teams and can identify where the weaknesses are - with Man Utd they're everywhere. I doubt even Mourinho coming in could fix them without a re-haul.

Think Moyes won't survive this week as ManU manager. Midweek elimination v Olympiacos and it's over!

I think they will ride the season out with him. Damage has been done and they will have to give him one hell of a payoff if they was to sack him during the first season.

He's on a long contract, but not a lucrative contract. His six years is reportedly cheaper than one of Mou's years!
