Unhappy Schwinn - Evolution Elite SR Bike

Before I moved to HK I did train triathlon and that for I did train alot spinning. I did train on the Schwinn - Evolution Elite SR Bike with SPD pedals.

As I would like to have this bike at home I went into deeper research where to buy in Hong Kong. I couldnt find one reseller here! Only in mainland China or in Taiwan. Of course the bike is very expensive with all the tax etc.
Some gyms (California Fitness) are using this spinning bike but you can only train on them when there is a spinning class.
Does anyone know where I might be able to buy this bike or have some connections into this industry? I am also willing to buy this bike second handed if the bike is in a good condition as I am training on a very high level!

Thank you very much for any hint!

Try these guys - Welcome to Fitness Concept

    Used to distribute Schwinn products.

Also, try some of these guys Fitness Equipment :: Hong Kong GeoExpat they might be able to source it for you.

not sure why you can only use them when there is a spin class on, do they lock the studio? At PURE I've seen people in the studio working on their own. PURE has the next generation bike too

in california (the only gym close to me) you can only use them when there are classes. maybe they are afraid that I will hurt myself while doing spinning

i went to a lot of gyms today and asked if i could buy a second hand one from them. like always: write down your number and we will contact you. Then you never hear again from them. I checked out Pure in Mong Kok and California Fitness there as well.

    This is quite challanging.

Do you have a road bike? If so, just get a trainer.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but why not just ask the manager at California where they got them from?

i did. at the frontdesk they have no clue and i am since 2 weeks waiting for a phone call from "the manager".
what i have heard is that there is no wholeseller of this bike in Hong Kong and the whole production has been outsourced to China which makes the bike pretty expensive (16000HKD) if you order it from there.

    Ah- OK.

How much would you expect to pay for something like this? I would have that 16k was pretty much normal.
