Good to see there's life left in the 5 day game , with all the emphasis on 20/20 etc. these days.

Indeed, there's a good reason it is called "Test" cricket!

    GET READY FOR ROUND 2

let's all hope that England gets more of the same in the second test starting in Adelaide on Thursday. (Maybe a bit too hopeful, from an Aussie Expat)

If the England players have not thickened their skin to handle the Ocker childishness then they will lose the series.... badly!

I hope, for the sake of test cricket, that this and the remaining tests are a bit more even.

Different, slower pitch. Johnson probably won't be as effective. Panesar could be picked. Lets hope Aust scores big runs in the first innings, rather than the second.

My hopes are up after day 2(but not up THAT much knowing Australia's form in the last series)
    Fingers crossed

Our bowlers are better than our batsmen, well that appears to be the trend the last few matches.

Well it looks like Sir Ian Botham will be half correct with his prediction for this series!

So since the Ashes in England, have Aust gotten better or have england gotten worse. Probably a bit of both but Johnson is bowling unbelievably good!
