Touch Rugby

I've looked through the threads and can't seem to find any information on any pick up teams that play on the weekends. I'm just looking to have a run around instead of sitting in front of the TV, bar stool, etc etc and burn the extra calories.

yeah i've been keen for this too. I think the best way is to go through one of the rugby clubs. Was hoping there would be some mixed teams so my girlfriend could also play.

Theres touch rugby on Friday nights 7:30pm at Happy Valley. Its free and social. Just come down and play.

I went down to this last friday night and couldnt see anyone around? Maybe i was in the wrong place? Can anyone confirm it is still on and if so, please help me out with some directions.

Not sure which pitch they were using but the Grass Rugby pitch was recently closed for maintenance issues.

Doubt it's available today. The Happy Valley pitch is reserved for an outdoor orchestra.
