1/ this is not going to happen
2/ if it ever happens - good game.

What's the issue about the US winning the world cup?

It will just be one more winner. no big deal

Me? No issues. But reading some of the football forums (not just this thread), you get the feel that its the end of the world for them.

If the USA won the world cup, it would go down in history as the worst team ever to have won it.

Jermaine Jones to score the winning goal, amirite:

My only concern with the USA doing well is football becoming big there and them trying to change the game - you know four quarters, no draws that sort of thing.

I wouldnt say the US are doing great so far..
    They lost against Germany
Drew against Portugal (who only has 2 real good players)
    Won against Ghana

The issue is that because Ronaldo plays for Portugal everyone thinks Portugal is a great team. It isn't.
It was a way better team when the likes of Figo and Co were playing.

Yes a great player still needs good players around him and Portugal are lacking.

Strange comment. The USA have already done well in reaching the last 16 and although the USA only have one vote we know how money equals votes in FIFA.
