Oh I'm not winding anyone up...just yet. Let's watch the England vs Italy match and I'll comment afterwards.

And they really know how to party. The fans are on cloud 9 but it was just one game. Still a long way to go. But impressive! For us neutrals it was simply astonishing. Let's see how Spain will recover.

Thinking about putting a whopping $10 on the England game... Probably a 1-1 draw, which means it won't be a 1-1 draw.

I think Van Persies goal will end up being the goal of the tournament. Been a long time since I have seen class like that. Went to bed after the game and had a dream England won 8-4. Then again shows how messed up my brain gets when it gets woken up at 3am to watch a football game.
Now checking to see if the Spanish have cancelled their hotel reservations for final week in Rio (Yes, still got nothing reserved yet).

Cool story, great 8:4 dream Trance. Yeah hard to top van Persie's goal. Van Basten Euro 88 perhaps in the same league. Spain has to pick up the pieces. Maybe they will be coming back stronger than before. Important message to the other teams. They are beatable.
