Seems like Hodgson's days are numbered as manager despite what the FA is saying...
They want Hodgson's scalp which is understandable but few guys on top ( FA ) should bow out as well and a couple of players should follow suit. Time for a change. A real change. Decent tournament in 2022 possible and maybe maybe World Champions in 2026 or 2030 :-) Will take some time, effort and might be painful ( especially for the fans ) but worthwhile.

I was prepared for this scenario and have additional tickets for the quarters in Fortaleza and semis in Belo. Looking around though tickets easy to pick up.

I've also got tickets for the England game in BH but decided we're not going to bother now. We're staying with my wife's parents in Curitiba and would have been a 7.30am flight to BH, returning at 9pm with a change in Sao Paulo and we just can't be done with the hassle for a meaningless game. Really didnt enjoy the Uruguay game and in my opinion, the stadium there wasnt worthy of the match. Was clearly not finished with temporary stands and no roof. Made for a very strange atmosphere.

We went to watch Honduras v Ecuador tonight and was great fun. Fantastic atmosphere too. There were 40k people there compared to 62k for the England game but made 10 times as much noise.

Agreed. The stadium and the looong walk from the station was a shambles with plenty of dodgy characters on the way before the ticket entrance.
Hated it when the locals drummed their feet on the stands when ever a free kick or corner was being taken. Whole stand felt like giving way. Police very very aggressive with any tea leaves they found too.
At the fan fest, they let anyone in and saw a bit of dumpster diving and plenty collecting old beer cans and putting in their bags, hell look at photo below and you can see Jesus was alive and well and was let in.

Argentina to belt the crap out of boring Iran by 3+ goals
Germany to demolish Ghana by 3+goals
Bosnia-Herzegovina to squeak in a 1:0 win over Nigeria to complete a miserable showing for African teams at the WC.
