Looking for a compensated gym buddy "trainer"

Hey guys, I don't know if this will work but it's worth a shot:

I'm looking for someone with bodybuilding experience to workout with that can show me some new lifts. PT certification isn't necessary, I'm just looking for someone is willing to share their experience and show me the lifts. We're essentially working out together, but I'm following your routine and I just have a few more questions than your average workout partner.

I've worked out for a few years now but there are some things I never got.

I am willing to compensate for your time...but first I need people who are willing to do this lol.

    Uh, location?

Might also be worth saying what kind of routine you are now using, as joining someone who is practicing they olympic lifting technique might not be all that suitable for either of you.

It's $18k for 18 sessions minimum training in Central

Physical PTs only exist to sell more sessions

Why not pay for a couple of sessions at UP? Be specific with your requirements (i.e. just a couple of sessions with a trainer who specialises in bodybuilding to show/correct your lifts etc). Nick Mitchell (UP founder) is a former competitive bodybuilder himself so if you don't get a positive response direct from UP HK, I'd tweet/email Nick himself and things will get sorted very quickly!

Because that's not what he's looking for?

Really? So what's your helpful suggestion??? Or you haven't got any so you're just nitpicking at anyone who actually tries to help the guy.

He wants to pay someone to help him with his body building form...sounds a lot like a personal trainer who specialises in bodybuilding. Except they won't be his friend....most people don't pay for those.

I understand that you've had a good experience with UP, so you recommend them on pretty much every fitness-related thread. Yes, that's hyperbole.

Consider how likely he is to go to UP and pay top dollar for personal training if he came to geoexpat looking for a "gym buddy" to throw a few dollars at in exchange for a little help.

Good for you that you can afford to go to UP. If we all could, maybe we all would. It's like suggesting someone buy a Ferrari after they come in asking for a mid-sized family car with some miles on it.
