Bayern all over the place the first 10 minutes. Huge mistake by Alonso in front of the 18 yard box. Neuer foul ( lucky not to be sent off ) penalty 1:0. Then 7 minutes later Dante lost the ball as last the last defender - bang 2:0. Thiago goal 2:1 '28

3:1 Porto '63 Martinez. Again horrific Bayern howler. This time Boateng.

Final whistle in Paris and Porto. Almost over for the Bavarians and Parisians although Bayern with a 2nd leg home game and surely not impossible turning the tie. 2:0 win would be enough. Good night :-)

I decided to watch the Porto match over the Barca match last night, I've had enough of watching Barca's possession play.

Bayern had no shape. Without Robben and Ribery on the wings creating chances, Bayern had no creativity or any outlets. Muller and Lewandowski just had nothing supplied to them. This is the tactical genius of Pep?

Porto on the other hand just wanted to result more, all over the pitch they were more determined. If you think Barca's pressing was good, Porto's pressing game was even better. Although the names in their squad are not the most famous, they do have a squad that's oozing with quality: Queresma, Jackson Martinez, Torres from Atletico, Alex Sandro and Danilo the right back that's on his way to Real Madrid. If they perform just half as good in the 2nd leg, they'll still get through to the next round.

Best player. Absolutely stunning. Yeah poor Luiz and a similar nightmare for his mate Dante vs Porto. It was Bela Horizonte all over again especially for the Bayern player!

Well the players were on the pitch and gifted Porto 3 goals, not Pep. I'm sure this tie is far from over but credit to Porto. Excellent performance :-)
