Travelling with Golf Clubs - How to

Hi All, does anyone tips on how to get golf clubs home undamaged. Or perhaps have a golf club travel cover / bag I could borrow?

In bringing clubs and a bag back to Europe as a gift and would like to keep them in good shape. Flying Cathay. I've seen bags thrown around so wanted to keep them in good shape.

Pls check out the link to get an idea. Also you may ask various golf shops in HK. So many around and they will find something for you

Thanks, I did research it and wasn't prepared to spend 2/3k on a golf cover bag that I will only use once. I might pack them into a box with fillers instead

But the person you are giving the clubs to may use the cover when they travel!

When i visit the USA i often buy a few, or more, golf clubs. At the shop I always ask for a golf box and pack up my clubs, and lots of clothing, in the box. I wrap it tight with strong tape and a grip device (for ease of handling). Never a problem and always arrive in perfect condition.

But i must pay extra baggage fees for sports equipment.

Thanks, that's a good suggestion using a club box stuffed with clothes. The recipient - my Dad won't travel, I wish he would. So a travel bag would be wasted.
