I understand exactly. It's those strange, little things about home that you don't know you'll miss until you don't have them.

Congrats to the Penguins. Too bad they couldn't close the deal at home in front of their fans. Hats off to San Jose. They were the 6th seed in the Western Conference IIRC, but they showed tons of heart.

Do you think the Pens will need to make a move with their goalie situation?

Was Matt Cullen's first cup also with the Penguins?

I'm happy for Kessel given the not so easy time he had with my Leafs.

Have to know a bit more about the salary and cap situation regarding the goalies in PITT. Keep in mind, the conference finals saw all four teams use both of their goalies for significant time. St. Louis has their two goalies signed cheap and plan to keep them both next year. A team like Dallas has a bunch of money tied up in two under-performers and they need to do something.

Don't know the answer to the Cullen question.

Off season is going to be a zoo given that the salary cap isn't going to be increased. You're going to see a lot of players moved for financial rather than hockey reasons.

And I wonder if the expansion draft will come into play too, although it is another full season away but teams might plan ahead for it.

I thought I heard something about each team only being allowed to protect one goalie but I may be wrong on that.
