Heartbreaker as Hull give up a goal at 92". Rooney did the heavy-lifting by dancing between a defender and the end line on the left of goal. To be fair, MU has dominated possession and created nearly all the chances but Hull were two minutes away from a draw.

    Hull 0-1 MU. FT

MU join Chelsea atop the table. That's it for today.

Man City try to join MU and Chelsea in the 9-point club tomorrow.

I am ok with that result. Given the mess Hull are in then goal difference could be important at the end of the year. Hull are due to be taken over by a Chinese consortium this week, but after the end of the transfer window. Could be a lot of youngsters getting a game this season.

Awesome huja. Thanks for the updates. Tough for Hull but what a dream start 4 ManUnited. Next game, after the international break, against ManCity at OldTrafford in 2 weeks time. The first real test.

Yes, indeed. Derby is already a big deal, but with the new managers and new players (and transfer distractions gone) it'll be one of the most anticipated matches of the season.

Middlesbrough and WBA play 90+ scoreless minutes and each side walk away with a point.

Man City vs. West Ham about to kick off at the Etihad to wrap up week three.

Joe Hart sits. Bravo not ready. Willy starts. Nasri, who has yet to see any action this season is available as a sub. Yaya Toure not even a sub - this is a divorce that needs to be completed ASAP.

City score after a brilliant run by David Silva and two taps to Raheem Sterling, who buries it. This was coming. City earned three corners in the first six minutes and 99% of the play has been tilted in WHU's side. .

    Man City 1-0 WHU. 7"
