Southampton with a famous win last night by beating Inter at home. Definitely a decent chance progressing into the next round. Last 2 games Sparta Prague away and H.Be'er Sheva at home which could be the decisive game.

    Group K
    1 Sparta Prague 9
    2 Southampton 7
    3 H. Be'er Sheva 4
    4 Inter Milan 3

ManUnited with another disappointing night. Watched the whole 90 minutes and Fenerbahçe was the better side without being impressive. Difficult times ahead at Old Trafford. Last 2 ganes against Feyenoord at home ( must win ) and Luhansk away. Good thing last night Feyenoord held to a draw. First or second spot still possible!

    Group A
    1 Feyenoord 7
    2 Fenerbahçe 7
    3 ManUnited 6
    4 Luhansk 2

Bundesliga teams with mixed results. While Schalke already advanced into the next round, suffered Mainz a 1:6 defeat in Anderlecht. Progressing will be now extremely difficult and facing St Etienne away in Match Day 5

    Group C
    1 Anderlecht 8
    2 St Etienne 8
    3 Mainz 5
    4 FK Qabala 0

Bayern only 1:1 at the Allianz Arena. Müller missed a sitter in the last minute. It's not his season so far after the disappointing Euro 2016. Hamburg got hammered at home. Still early days but I can't see how they will be staying in the Bundesliga this season. Disastrous performance and a horrible result against Dortmund ( 4 goals Aubameyang )

    Bayern v Hoffenheim 1:1
    Leverlusen v Darmstadt 3:2
    Hamburgv Dortmund 2:5
    Ingolstadt v Augsburg 0:2
    Freiburg v Wolfsburg 0:3
    Frankfurt v Cologne 1:0

Just to warp things up before the international beak. Red Bull Leibzig the team to beat at the moment. Just newly promoted and already chasing Bayern. Let's see if they can keep this pace. Hamburger SV a hopeless case. Shocking display against Dortmund - Their idol Uwe Seeler ( celebrated his 80th birthday last weekend ) must be devastated. Really feel sorry for him and the fans. They had a lucky lucky escape last season but this time they're doomed I'm afraid. The other northern Club Werder Bremen also struggling - once again. Long list of injured players - I think they can turn it around once they have fully recovered.

    Sunday
    Schalke v Bremen 3:1
    Leibzig v Mainz 3:1

    1 Bayern 24
    2 Leibzig 24
    3 Hoffenheim 20
    4 Berlin 20

    16 Bremen 7
    17 Ingolstadt 2
    18 Hamburg 2
