CWS is bringing you its first ever charity run on Lamma Island. The race will start at Yung Shu Wan's Tai Wan To beach and take you through the famous Lamma Windmill, then onto a trail across the mountain with scenic views of the Southern District of Hong Kong Island. Bringing you the best of Lamma Island, the route will then take you to Sok Kwu Wan before looping back to Tai Wan To beach.With an elevation gain of over 300 metres covered through this varied 8km route with a mix of concrete and trail; it is fit for any level, beginners can simply opt to hike and the advanced runners can challenge themselves to a fast time!

What is more fun is that it is in conjunction with Lamma Fun Day, the longest running Beach Music Festival raising funds for CWS to provide education and training to disadvantaged children and youth. What better way than to finish a race arriving at an outdoor beach music festival and fun day? A dip in the cool ocean, drinks from the bar, awesome live music on stage and plenty for the kids to do!

How to get to the start line

Please note that the start line is a 20 minute walk from Yung Shue Wan Ferry Pier (Lamma Island).
We recommend you to take 8:10 or 8:30 am ferry from Central Pier no. 4 to Yung Shue Wan. Please click here for ferry schedule.
