One of the rare Saturday's I didn't watch a single game. Disappointing draw at Anfieid but all eyes
on Liverpool's midweek CL game. Southampton with an important win and just 1 point behind 17th place. West Brom got a lifeline & still hanging in there.. but chances are very very slim

    Saturday
    Liverpool v Stoke 0:0
    Burnley v Brighton 0:0
    Palace v Leicester 5:0
    Huddersfield v Everton 0:2
    Newcastle v West Brom 0:1
    Southampton v Bournemouth 2:1
    Swansea v Chelsea 0:1

City go to West Ham and win easily 4-1, but the drama today is at Old Trafford where Arsene Wenger visits as Arsenal manager for the last time.

Wenger is greeted warmly by Mou and Fergie before the match and is presented with a boxed gift. Appears to be a silver cup of some sort.
    MU take an early lead.

51' Arsenal scores equalizer. Mhikataryan from Xhaka. Game is really opening up. Energy level ramped up after a rather sedate first half.

    Wenger out.
Mou and Klopp seem to be on solid ground. Poch seems safe. Conte is begging to be paid to go away.

And Arsenal lose in a kick-in-the-groin manner. Sideshow Bob (Fellaini) on a header in the 91st minute. You could see it coming. MU had a similar goal disallowed on an OS call just minutes earlier.

The Wenger retirement tour is becoming a sort of funeral procession.

Leicester City clinched the Premiership two years ago today. Their final point total was 81.

A rare Friday evening match as Brighton & Hove Albion fights for their Premiership lives against visiting Manchester United and against all odds the home side wins 1-0. Actually BHA had more energy and urgency. It was a deserved win.

Worth noting is DeGea made a save in this match that's as good as you'll see. Without him, MU is battling to guarantee a UCL spot for next season instead of only looking up at Man City.

Also worth noting (credit to the TV commentator), United lost to all three newly promoted clubs this season. Weird quirk.

Another shocking result at West Brom scores an injury-time goal to secure three points against visiting Tottenham! This relegation battle is fantastic!

I hope Man City has been paying attention to the results as the prep for the match against Huddersfield. These bottom-of-the-table clubs are desperate and dangerous.

And the theme of the weekend continues as Southampton breaks a scoreless tie at Everton at 56".

Everton score in the 96" of the match against a 10-man Southampton when there was suppose to be only 4 minutes of injury time. Crazy.
