Agreed and it's the second match between the 2 within few days ( EFL Cup 2:0 home win Leicester ) Slowly but surely Liverpool gotta step up a gear or 2. Too many disappointing results and games lately.

I wouldn't go as far to say Klopp's seat is hot, but it is trending warmer.

Just checking the fixtures again huja. Looks like a routine win once again for City today and the upcoming CL game against Shakhtar shouldn't be problem either, but afterwards it's crunchtime. Chelsea will be a real test

No sure things in top flight footie. It wouldn't take but one or two injuries to derail City's season. Exchange Bravo for Ederson and it's a vastly inferior team. Take away Aguero (who seldom makes it through an entire season without time lost to injury) for a spell and it's a different team. They've weathered Vincent Kompany's annual leg injury, but the back line, Mangala in particular, looked terrible in the Sponsor-of-the-Moment Cup.

Questions remain about Man City's squad depth after win over West Brom - ESPN FC

Speaking of which, shame on the marketing department at Pimm's not to jump over sponsorship rights to the EFL Cup.

The Pimm's Cup Cup would be an all-time great name.

It's hot as always. Celtic dominated the first half but Rangers with a legitimate penalty claim ...

    Halftime

    Rangers 0
    Celtic 0
