Ok, I feel the difference, but this result is quite easy to explain. They had to play much more games thie year cause of the CL and EL. The main playmaker Forsberg was injured for a couple of months, the others got used to their playing style.
So considering all these factors this is still impressive. I expect them to qualify for Champions League next and maybe even fight for the the second place, if they find someone good for the Keita's posotion

    Monday
    Bremen v Cologne 3:1

    Standings
    13 Bremen 30
    14 Freiburg 30
    Relegation Zone
    15 Wolfsburg 25
    16 Mainz 25
    17 Hamburg 18
    18 Cologne 17

Hamburg & Cologne more or less relegated. Freibug and Bremen with some breathing space but no let up allowed. At the moment Wolfsburg and Mainz battling it out for 15th spot in order to avoid the relegation playoffs!

Should be forced to sell club by season's end. Banned from football forever.

Big international games ahead for the two Bundesliga clubs Leipzig and Dortmund. The BVB of course with a much tougher task after the 1:2 home defeat against RB Salzburg last week. However a Quarterfinal between the 2 Red Bull teams would be really fun. Two defying matches for Leipzig away at the Krestovsky Stadium against Zenit and coming Sunday at home vs Bayern. The Bavarians are already 99,99% the new BL champions but they will be taking this match 100% seriously. Big prestige match. Later the weekend more about this clash ahead
