This was typically Liverpool all over again. 1:0 after 5 minutes, then 1:2 behind within 6 minutes and a missed penalty Firmino '27 ( I switched off the TV after that ) and on top the Matip o.g. in injury time 45+2

And from what I understand, they got two VAR plays go in their favor. It looks like beating Man City was the apex of their season and they are still hung over from the celebration.

Fuck Cardiff! They aren't fit to be on the same pitch as City. Officials need to get their heads out of their asses. And not just this match. Kane should have been shown a red card for his tackle on Sterling. Ali should have been booked for assault for his tackle on KDB. Teams are targeting City with cheap shots instead of trying to keep up with skill. Terrible.

Pep Guardiola says lack of protection from referees will make it impossible for Man City to win quadruple

    Swansea 8-1 Notts.

Goodness! Don't look now, but Swansea with only one loss across all competition in the new year including wins over Liverpool and Arsenal.

That said, they are only just out of the relegation zone on goal differential.
