    I guess some wanted to capitalize on Woods presence by trying to hype the fact that he was a contender but that was smoke and mirrors. The reality is that only 8% of major winners were over 40 and over 75% were under 35. We can see those odds reflected very well in the leaderboard where only one of the leaders is over 40 and the large majority are under 35. Woods may squeak out another win if he stays healthy but he is no longer a main contender just like Mickelson.

    @Golem
    Yes I was also a bit surprised about the 'Tiger' euphoria in the build-up although I guess it was more about the anticipation and excitement that he's back and obviously in a good shape, rather than winning the thing. Tigers record in 2018 wasn't too bad so far ( Honda Classics 12th, Arnold Palmer Invitational T5 and T2 at the Valspar Championship ) and I think he's on a good way if he stays pain - and injury free. Let's see but agreed. Very very tough winning a Major in the future!

    Will be watching a few holes. Live coverage will be starting in 15 minutes. For Asian viewers it's almost impossible to follow the Masters. Golf watching on TV isn't exactly the kind of entertainment what keeps you easily awake Great tournament though

    Some great golf so far. Fowler & Rahm -4 and Bubba Watson 3 under today. Chasing the leader Patrick Reed. McIlroy with -2 and 6 under for the tournament. Great bunker shot
