In a switch of roles, Kun Aguero does the dirty work on the baseline to set up Raheem Sterling for a goal. City regain their three-goal lead in the final minutes of the first half.

Man City 6-1 SOU. FT. And the thing is, Southampton actually has some good stretches of play in the second half.

    Chelsea 1-0 over Palace. HT.

Chelsea restores order in the second half and win 3-1. Marata with a brace and a missed opportunity for the hat trick. With the three points Chelsea match Liverpool in points but jump them in the table on the strength of goal differential.

Schedules getting crowded now and it'll be as much about attrition as it is quality to get to the end of the year.

bit off topic @huja but always wanted to ask you if you're following the MLS? It's also at prime time in the US - surely more fun ( kick off times ) than the European games

MLS is where past-their-prime footballers go for a paid retirement. Hard to follow seriously after cutting your teeth on top flight Euro Leagues. Not to say that there aren't some entertaining matches. Last weekend offered a couple of entertaining knock-out round matches. The problem is that when MLS is in prime time, so are other sports (i.e. NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, NCAA etc).
