Might as well just a buy a blue jersey with "ETIHAD" stenciled on the front, @Tom007.

I was up. My dog woke me up at 5:15 am my time. Watched much of the match. Looked like two teams who haven't played together in a while which was exactly the situation.

Liverpool score early in the first half and carry the play well into the second half. Match is at the hour mark and TOT with the best stretch of play. They still look a half-step behind Liverpool. Spurs players seem to need an extra touch, an extra moment to tee off a shot. Liverpool are very much the opposite. They are live wires with hair triggers. Still, it's a one-goal game with 30 minutes remaining. Anything could happen.

On a quickly-taken free kick, Spurs string together three passes to produce a tying goal. Twenty minutes remaining. Match has opened up. Almost certain to have more scoring chances.

    LIV 1-1 TOT. 72"

TOT with a 2-on-1 and Sissoko misses the goal! What an appallingly poor effort.

TOT with several fast-break chances but no finishing touch. So wasteful.
