LIV earn a corner in the final minute. They miss on the initial cross but but score (TOT own goal) in the following scrum.

    LIV 2-1 TOT. 90".

    WOW.

Who said it earlier in this thread? Tottenham are masters of bottling. Proving it right now.

    LIV 2-1 TOT. FT.

Pool back to top of the table by a miracle goal in the final minute. What an exciting match. The football gods were kind to Liverpool today.

Thanks for the updates @huja A priceless last minute win for Liverpool However, City could reclaim the top spot midweek against Cardiff as Liverpool wiith a tasty tie coming weekend at the St. Mary's Stadium against the in-form Saints Hasenhüttl v Klopp Looking forward to this one.

Many of the odds makers/computer sims have 94 points winning the league. That's three dropped points for Liverpool; four dropped for City. I think it may take >94 to win outright.

It's interesting how the pundits are reading the tea leaves on recent matches. One could see Liverpool's struggles against Fulham and Tottenham as indications they are not at top form and are due for bump in the road. Another view is that these close games are galvanizing their mental toughness which bodes well for their remaining fixture list.

City, meanwhile didn't have to shift beyond third gear to breeze by Fulham and have the luxury of a couple of weak opponents to work in players returning from injury (what a luxury it is to get back Kevin, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, John Stones, and possible Benjamin Mendy). That said, I'm pretty sure Cardiff want to avoid relegation as much as City want to hoist the PL Cup. And City still have host the Spurs and visit Old Trafford for a mid-week, make-up-date derby. My heart wants City to win, obviously. But my head says battling on three fronts (EPL, UCL, and FA) plus an away derby will take it's toll.

The Honeymoon for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United is officially over. The fight for 3rd and 4th in the table is going to be a wild one.

Spurs kicking off their first match at the new stadium. It is state-of-the-art. There are multiple medical stations and paramedics around the pitch ready to administer the Heimlich maneuver when the team inevitably chokes a victory away. Safety first, boys and girls.

Meanwhile, American TV decided a team chasing the quadruple is not worth broadcasting.

Chelsea march on in their quest to secure a top-four finish. It's there for the taking if a team seizes it.

Kevin DeBruyne with the first goal of the day six minutes in as City goes up 1-0 against Cardiff. Man City need him in good form if they have chance at the quad.

Meanwhile, TOT's housewarming party is paused as Kieran Trippier sustains a knock. He stays in the game.

Man City LB Zinchenko injured. Kyle Walker in. Not good. Zinchenko already filling in for injured Benjamin Mendy.
