Just saw another tweet from the official Man City account. The 2018/19 Club is the first English team to win 50 matches across all competitions in a single season.

Congrats City! Switched the channels halftime. Couldn't see a Watford comeback, although they were not too bad the first 45 minutes. What an one sided in the end. 6:0 in the final is massive. Now looking forward to the German Cup Final

Guardiola is now the eighth manager to have won the three major domestic trophies, joining Bill Nicholson, Don Revie, Joe Mercer, Dalglish, George Graham, Ferguson and Jose Mourinho.
Would have bet Wenger as one of the eight.

From Vincent Kompany's open letter part 2 (worth reading both parts on his FB page)
"I choose to be grateful for the past but remain ambitious and driven for the future.
For the next 3 years, I will take up the role of Player-Manager of RSC Anderlecht. "

Me: Seems like a great fit. Wouldn't surprise me to see him get a Premier League manager appointment in the future.

Since its an all English Final and on top a London derby, I think it's the appropriate thread. Politics aside for a moment

    Date: 30 May - 03:00am (HKT)
    Venue: Olympic Stadium, Baku
    Referee: Gianlucca Rocchi, Italy

Rumor on a site I've never heard of saying Pep Guardiola to Juve on four year deal.

it's a shame that political issues get in the way of sporting issues, an armenian player won't play the final due to this issue

Indeed it's a shame. It's been all over the news and yes FIFA, UEFA.. it's more or less the same.. money and money and money, but I love footie so much... Don't want to dig too deep ... Hopefully, at least, the major competitions are clean...
