... great to hear from you and welcome back @huja. You won't boycott this footie thread as well - this can't beMy last season predictions were ok I think
now let's see yours for 2018/19
Great weekend to you and everyone. Tomorrow the FA Community Shield game ManCity v Chelsea (10pm HKT )
This season is unpredictable mainly because of the World Cup hangover.
Okay, that's not entirely true. I predict a lot of injuries and performance decline because of so many matches played by top players. It seems the off-season was but a blink of the eye.
I think teams with fewer players in the WC will advance a bit up the table and the teams with many players in the WC will regress a couple of spots in the table. That probably means the Manchester clubs miss on on the Premiership this season.
From last season . . . not bad, @Tom007. Not bad at all
1. Liverpool
2. Man City
3. Chelsea
4. Spurs
Mourinho to be sacked by the end of the season. Arsenal to realise they have a massive rebuilding job on their hands after years of stagnation under Wenge. Liverpool to end their long wait for a league title.
Mou already complaining about his squad during their U.S. tour. His head games are no longer effective. He just comes across as a dinosaur; an unimaginative asshat. What offensive player would want to be on his squad?
