Goodness! Penalty call on Dutch on an inadvertent handball. The Dutch player didn't even see the ball that came over his shoulder. The football gods have been drinking home-made grain alcohol.

Kroos buries it from the spot

    GER 2-2 NED. 72".

Dutch put a ribbon on the match with a fourth goal at the start of injury time. Great finishing by the Orange in this second half.

    GER 2-4 NED. 91"

Germany with a shot that skips wide off the right post in the third of four minutes in extra time. The whistle blows and the fans in Hamburg are stunned.

    GER 2-4 NED. FT.

Thanks @huja for following through. Had enough at halftime and I’m rather not surprised
about the result as the first half imho was far from convincing. Gotta say the Volksparkstadion is not a good place for the German National Team and new discussion will be emerging again if it was wise to carry on with Löw; let’s wait and see what will be happening in Belfast on Tuesday. Another defeat and they’re in trouble!
