No yellow jersey and stage ceremony! Few photos attached; first Bradley Wiggins riding and commentating for Eurosport through the Friday afternoon sun, then the sad moment when Thibaut Pinot pulled out and then the aftermath of the hailstorm and landslide which made it impossible to continue the race. Alaphilippe hugely disappointed coz they stopped the race during the (his) descent right after the Col D’Iseran.

It was a hailstorm not snowstorm!

With Pinot out (so unlucky) it is now a top 5:

    Bernal
    Alaphilippe 0' 48"
    Thomas 1' 16"
    Kruijswijk 1' 28"
    Buchmann 1' 55"

I assume Team Ineos will now put everything behind Bernal?

And me the British team. I had to look up who Ineos was!

Very bad day for the French yesterday which is a shame. Still Alaphilippe will have chances in other years.

Nationalities apart this has been a truly wonderful Tour, the best I can remember.

Alaphilippe out of the Top 3! 10km to go. No podium finish I’m afraid :-(
